Why Nobody likes Justin Beiber

By: Alec Wandler
Justin Beiber is a fail! Yea that’s right he sounds like a girl and he is a 16 or 17 year old boy or whatever and he is smaller than me and has a higher voice than everyone in this class. (that’s sad!!!!!!!!!) laugh out loud. Justin Beiber must have the highest voice in the world and his songs sound like they were sang by a girl. when i first heard him i said "i've heard enough turn this off she is a terrible singer!" and later on i found out it was the highest voiced man in the world. :) the end!
Ps:
i hate Justin Beiber!

The strange man at the bus station

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. He was shivering and in dire need of warmth. He looked homeless and was very old. He had a long gray beard, looked very weary, wearing old boots with tattered holes them, an old plaid shirt, and a pair of jeans with several holes in them. He did not look very wealthy at all and I had no clue what he was up to.
The next day later I saw him again, and kept seeing him every day now doing the same old routine. I noticed what he was doing after seeing him everyday a month. Every day he would go into the bus station and ask people for money. After he had enough money he usually would go to a nearby restaurant and get a bowl of soup. I asked my friend Michael if he had ever seen this old man before, Michael said “I’ve seen him sleeping in the bus station before when I was working second shift.” I started to worry about this man. I felt horrible for him for he had no one to love, or anybody to love him.
Over 4 months had past and I was still seeing this strange man walking amongst the streets and in the bus station. Every time I saw him he seemed so down. He didn’t look like he was a joyful man. One day I decided I would buy him a bowl of soup and a nice warm glass of hot cocoa. I greeted him by saying, “hello sir, my name is David. I’ve seen you walking around the town and in the bus station a lot. Would you like to go get a nice warm glass of cocoa and soup with me? It’s my treat.” It turns out he is a very nice old man but is very lonely. His family had died in a fire when he was a young man about the age of 26. His wife had left him when he was 39 because he had lost his job and had gotten very lazy. She took their son with her and moved to North Carolina where he was nowhere to be in sight.
After today we became good friends and I decided I would go to see him every Thursday morning and go out to eat with him at a nearby cafĂ©. We had been doing this for over two months now, so I finally decided to ask my wife Debra about letting him live with us. She said, “I don’t know Michael, it doesn’t sound like a good idea. We have children.” I begged her until finally she gave in. she said, “Alright alright! I give up! He may live with us as long as he gets a job.” I jumped with joy and went to the old man and asked if he would like to live with me, my, wife, and kids. He said yes.
He had been living with us for two years now and suddenly, the next morning he was gone, out of nowhere he had left us. We were all sad and had no idea where he had gone. We called the police and told them about it and they had searched for him for six days before finding him in the subway, dead. The family was in tears and all were sad. They had a funeral for him two weeks later. Although they miss him, they know he is in a better place now.

Patriotism

Why is patriotism important? To me, patriotism does matter because without it, we would never have a leader for our countries. Without a leader it would be very difficult to obey and there would be no one to keep your country in line. Without patriotism there would be no laws and no one would obey.
If no one obeyed then the whole world would be messed up. There would be fights and killing people and stealing, and many more crimes. We are very lucky to have patriotism, cause without it the world and all people would be a mess.
Even though no one would obey laws, there would also be no rulers in the world such as a king, queen, president, dictator, or some other ruler. It is a very important thing that helps us people stay in line and obey. If our country didn't have patriotism than we would have no troops and would be owned by a different country. We wouldn't have a government either. That would be a disaster.
Although the world would be a disaster without rulers and laws, the biggest thing is that we have patriotism. We need patriotism or this world would not look too good. Every country needs some sort of patriotism In it because without it we would be nothing and would all probably be dead and there would be no money so people would be breaking in to stores (if there are any) and stealing or killing. Our country runs how it is because we have a president and we reelect a new one every four years and we don’t let our country have a dictator because that could change the whole country because he could change all the laws and change everything else in the country.
This is why we need patriotism. Although it is just a opinion there are many supported details and a lot of people probably don’t agree but I think patriotism is a very important thing to our country. This is why patriotism is helpful to our country and why we need it and what our world would be like if we didn’t have patriotism.
